Hosted by Location Time Program Lunch
This month's raffle winner Jennie Roberts
Remove the blue marking lines with a solution made expecially for that purpose.
Attach something to the 1" end of your take measure to quickly find the right end.
Insert chalk in the end of each holder and use to make evenly spaced lines on your quilt top.
Use a thread picker in the unlikely event you have to unsew.
Use a rule with both vertical and horizontal marking lines to help you keep your stitching lined up properly.
Use a piece of foam on top of your quilt to stuff under the roller to make the tension on the quilt a little tighter. This will make it much easher to accurrately stitch small designs. The thicker the foam, the greater the tension.
Attach this small notion holder to your hanle bar with a tie wrap to keep your scissors and thread ripper handy.
Ourline a motif that you've quilted to act as a buffer around the motif so that cross-hatching doesn't run into it.
Create your own light box to mark your quilt top while it is on the machine. Download a flashlight app on your smartphone and use this as your light source. Place the lighted phone under the qult top (on top of the batting) with a clear plastic tub lid over it. Then place the pattern to be traced on top of the lid.
