What is the challenge?
Make a quilt with YOU as the subject. It can be the current you, you as a child or you in the future. Go realistic or abstract, it's up to you.
You can piece the portrait, do applique, or whatever technique you desire.
What are the rules?
* Must no larger than 24" x 24"
* Must have 2 layers plus batting or flannel.
* Must be quilted.
* Must be finished - with binding or facing.
Pieces are due at the October 2024 meeting.
Don't reveal your quilt to anyone before the meeting. You will bring it in a bag so that no one can see it. We will display them with a number and have members write down their guesses of who made each quilt. Members will also vote for their top three choices.
Prize money will be given for the top three quilts.
