What is the challenge?
Make a piece inspired by a road sign. Stop sign, crossroad, caution, curve, dead end, arrow, deer crossing, railroad crossing basically any sign you would see along the roadway.
It is really open to your interpretation.
What are the rules?
* Must have 2 layers plus batting or flannel.
* Must be quilted.
* Must be finished - with binding or facing.
* Must have a label on the back that indicates what the sign is that inspired you..
* Total perimeter (total of all sides) of the quilt should be 100" or less.
* ONE entry per member.
Pieces are due at the October 2026 meeting. Bring the quilt in a bag so that no one sees it before it is displayed. If you cannot attend the meeting you can still submit an entry - just make sure to get your quilt to a member who is attending.
Prize money will be given for the top three quilts.
