NOTE - The meeting room at this shop is a large space with plenty of tables. There is a kitchen (no stove) with a microwave and fridge. They supply paper products and utensils.

The shop is open from 10am to 4pm. The room for us will be open at 10am. Come early and shop.

++Each attendee must pay a fee of $50 - you can send a check to the Treasurer, Lynne Gray. Make check out to Ohio LongArm Quilters.

PROGRAM: Feathers and Fillers. Carolyn Mann will demonstrate various ways to quilt feathers and the group will share their favorite filler techniques. We will practice by drawing the designs.

The quilt shop is open from 9am to 1pm. The meeting room is large and has many tables and a full kitchen.

PROGRAM: Bindings and Facings. Mary Zeitz will do a presentation on the various ways to bind your quilts. She'll cover bias binding, 2 color binding, bindings with piping or flanges, how to bind each side of a quilt with a different fabric, how to miter the corners. She'll show how to attached the binding for handing finishing or stitching by machine. Sue Carlisle will discuss how to face a quilt which is perfect for wall hangings.

​SHORT TOPIC SEGMENT: How to piece backings, specifically how to create a wider piece of fabric from a 44" wide fabric with one diagonal seam.

PROGRAM: We’ll be hosting a “What Should I Quilt?” session! Bring your unquilted tops—large or small—and share them with the group. Members will offer suggestions on quilting motifs, thread choices, layout ideas, and quilting styles. Whether you’re looking for modern lines, traditional feathers, or something unexpected, you’ll leave with plenty of inspiration.
