them without compromising the finished look-all this and more will be included.  Most of these designs work wonderfully for sashing,

Starting a Longarm Quilting Business                                                                   Class # 106
When contemplating opening for business, there are some questions you need to consider.  As time permits, we will discuss what
you want (goals) out of your business.  What skills and weaknesses have an impact on your potential success?  Can you manage
your time effectively?  How do you know if there is a need for another longarmer in your area (market research)?  What machine
should you buy?  How will you finance this new endeavor?   Does your bank want a business plan? What type of business entity will
you choose (sole proprietor/partnership/corporation)?  Where will you set up shop and what will the legal/financial ramifications be
(zoning, tax numbers, permits/licenses, and insurance)?  How will you get the word out (marketing strategies)?   How much can you
realistically earn as compared to how much your time is worth in the work force?  Will anyone operate this business with you or will
you have the need to hire employees or subcontract help?  Being aware of these issues before you make the financial commitment
to open a business can help you decide whether this is really for you.
